Diploma ceremonies
The Swiss Financial Analysts Association SFAA is a government recognised awarding body in Switzerland for the Federal Diploma for Financial Analysts and Portfolio Managers and the Federal Diploma for Experts in Finance and Investments. The same applies to the CIIA (Certified International Investment Analyst) awarded by the Association of Certified International Investment Analysts ACIIA and the CIWM (Certified International Wealth Manager) Diploma, awarded by the Association of International Wealth Management AIWM.
The diploma ceremony is held each June, at the same time as SFAA's General Meeting. The best graduates in each category are given a Rolex watch and a voucher for a weekend for two persons at the renowned Hotel Victoria-Jungfrau in Interlaken. The runners-up (second and third places) also receive a voucher for a weekend at the Hotel Victoria-Jungfrau.
The diploma ceremonies are held on a rotating basis in Zurich and Geneva, and also in Lugano about every six years.
The next diploma ceremony will be in Geneva on Thursday, 23 June 2011 at the hotel Beau-Rivage.
Here are the photos from the diploma ceremony in 2010, which was held in Zurich on the 17 June 2010 at the Marriott hotel.
